The v&a waterfront is a mixed-use development comprising residential and commercial property, hotels, retail stores, dining, leisure and entertainment facilities. spanning 123 hectares, it�s a space where you can work, live, eat and play.. We enjoyed our visit to the v&a waterfront and especially the watershed. so many unique shops and places to eat. found lots of goodies, everything from spices to hand crafted jewelry and clothing.. The casual atmosphere and waterfront location make salty�s a natural for gatherings during the day and well into the evening. if you desire something quieter then head upstairs to their restaurant, which offers a superb view of halifax harbour, and a great selection of local shellfish, fish, steak, lamb and chicken..
The second floor gives way to a multi-room, fine dining experience inspired by the hudson river valley foodshed, complete with an intimate cocktail bar. the third floor, which offers unparalleled views of the lower manhattan waterfront and financial district skyline, is dedicated to special events.. Right on the waterfront, this is a lovely restaurant. great atmosphere and attentive staff. good selection of seafood with some interesting twists. try the 2 different bruschetta entrees-delicious ! mains were flavoursome and hearty which is a nice change from other more upmarket restaurants..
